General Questions

MouseSensitivityConvert.com is an online gaming utility designed to help FPS players understand and convert mouse sensitivity settings between supported games.

A mouse sensitivity converter helps translate a sensitivity setting from one game into a corresponding setting for another supported game.

Different games use different sensitivity systems and scales. A converter can give you a useful starting point when moving your settings between games.

No. Sensitivity is highly personal. A conversion can provide a useful reference, but players should fine-tune their settings based on comfort, aim style, hardware, and preference.

No. The tools can be useful for competitive players, casual gamers, streamers, creators, and anyone interested in understanding FPS mouse settings.

Mouse Sensitivity Explained

Mouse sensitivity controls how much your in-game view moves in response to physical mouse movement.

You can try to maintain a similar overall mouse feel, but each game handles sensitivity differently. A converter can help you establish a useful starting point.

Not necessarily. A professional player's settings may work well for them but may not suit your mouse, DPI, grip, resolution, play style, or preferences.

Not inherently. Higher and lower sensitivities each have advantages and trade-offs. The right choice depends on the player.

Lower sensitivity can provide more physical mouse movement for a given rotation, but that does not automatically make it better. Comfort and consistency matter.

Look for practical signs such as difficulty making precise movements, frequently running out of mouse space, or struggling with rapid turns. Your comfort and consistency are more important than a specific number.

03

Input metrics

DPI & eDPI

DPI, or dots per inch, describes how many counts a mouse reports for physical movement over a given distance.

eDPI is commonly calculated as:

DPI × in-game sensitivity

It provides a convenient way to compare effective sensitivity values within games where that calculation is applicable.

eDPI can help players compare sensitivity setups even when two players use different mouse DPI settings.

Neither is automatically better. Both can be used effectively, and the important factor is how your complete sensitivity setup feels and performs.

Changing DPI changes the relationship between physical mouse movement and cursor/input counts. To maintain a similar effective sensitivity in systems where the relationship is linear, players may adjust in-game sensitivity accordingly.

Avoid treating this as universally identical across every game or input system.

04

Physical distance

Understanding cm/360°

cm/360° represents the physical distance you need to move your mouse to rotate your character 360 degrees in-game.

It provides a physical measurement that can make sensitivity easier to compare across different settings and games.

Generally, yes. A lower cm/360° means less physical mouse movement is required for a 360-degree rotation.

Generally, yes. A higher cm/360° means more physical mouse movement is required for the same 360-degree rotation.

Neither is universally better. Sensitivity values and physical measurements provide different ways to understand the same general setup.

Game-to-game

Sensitivity Conversion

A conversion attempts to translate the mouse movement relationship from one game's sensitivity system to another using the relevant game-specific settings and formulas.

A conversion can provide a strong starting point, but an identical feel is not always guaranteed because games can differ in mechanics, FOV, input handling, aiming behavior, and other factors.

Different games use different sensitivity scales and formulas. The numerical value itself is not directly comparable across every game.

Yes. Treat a converted value as a starting point and adjust it if needed based on your personal preference and in-game feel.

Some conversions may primarily depend on the game's sensitivity relationship, while others may use DPI or additional measurements. The required inputs depend on the specific conversion.

No. A conversion tool should be treated as a mathematical/reference tool rather than a guarantee that two games will feel completely identical.

This answer is important for maintaining realistic expectations.

Games & Compatibility

The platform is designed around popular FPS games and supported game-to-game conversions. Display the currently supported games on the relevant tool interface rather than making unsupported claims here.

Game support can evolve over time. Users can contact the team and suggest a game they'd like to see supported.

The conversion may not currently be available for that game, or the relevant conversion information may still need to be researched and implemented.

Yes. Send a request through the Contact Us page and mention the game you'd like to see supported.

No. Different games can use different sensitivity systems, input handling, FOV behavior, and scaling. Conversion logic should be specific to the games involved.

Free and Pro

Plans & Features

Yes. The core homepage mouse sensitivity converter is available through the Free plan.

The Free plan provides access to the core mouse sensitivity conversion experience and basic supported functionality.

Pro is intended for users who want advanced sensitivity tools such as expanded conversion capabilities, eDPI, cm/360°, inches/360°, sensitivity comparisons, saved profiles, conversion history, and other advanced functionality.

The planned Pro pricing is:

$7.99/month or $79.99/year

Yes. The annual Pro price is designed to be lower than paying the monthly price for 12 months.

Pro is best suited to players who want more advanced sensitivity analysis, saved setups, broader tools, and additional convenience.

The Custom plan is intended for teams, gaming communities, creators, organizations, or users with specialized requirements.

Contact the team and describe what you need. Custom requirements can be discussed individually.

Troubleshooting

First, check that you selected the correct source and target games and entered the correct sensitivity and DPI values where required.

If the result still appears incorrect, contact support with the relevant details.

Use the Contact Us page to suggest the game and provide any relevant information.

Review the relevant sensitivity, DPI, eDPI, and cm/360° information. If you still need help, contact support.

Yes. Include the game names, settings, values, and a description of what you expected versus what happened.

Include source game, target game, sensitivity, DPI, any displayed result, what you expected, and what actually happened.
